Recording contracts we all need!!

Post by ron1017 » Wed Jan 19, 2005 4:12 pm

We at Entertainmentfirst are "Putting the right people with the right people so that everybody wins", so we are working with 3 Grammy Award winning producers to find new and rare talent that can be released into the main stream, check out what we are doing and who scored contracts last year thru our events.

If you move this over to Off-Topic, drop it in the "messageboard slang we all hate," okay?

From what I can see, the 'mainstream' is pretty polluted.

I'll stick to our spring fed lake, thanks.

This is the oldest scam in the book.

So..I'll bite. What Grammy Award Winning producers are you speaking of and what have they produced.

Fuck...If I ever got a Grammy, I'd know it was time to hang it up as I would have become artistically void.

Can one of the admins delete this entire post please?

Funny how "Corporate" folks assume that real artists, producers, engineers ...etc, couldn't possibly be happy in the real world. By "Real World" I mean as far away from them as possible.

I hope ron1017 enjoys every one of these replies. It looks like someone didn't know where they were posting. It's the little things like this that make me thankful that I never got rapped up in the Label Chase. I was fortunate enough to be witness to many friends of mine give everything up just to get a Major deal. Every one of them regretted what they had to sacrifice to get nothing but debt in return. It's insulting after all that artists go through, all that they give up, to see some shmuk offering some scam that traps young kids and fills there heads with bullshit. It's hard enough to dream these days, without this crap getting in the way. Go back to infomercials, and leave us alone!!!

I worked for a grammy award winning producer for over a year. He wasn't any more talented than many of the folks on this board, and none of the projects we did ever went anywhere, despite his "connections".

I'm amazed that anybody finds this bullshit believable anymore.
