i got a neutrik Patchlink SPL for like under a hundred bucks. It seems to work fine, hasnt broken yet. And it does a good job.

But what type of patchbay are you looking to get.?? Balanced/unblanced, etc.

You should check in surplus electronics stores. My patchbays came from a phone company, just rewired them for audio. I paid $40 each for mine..TT 96 points

I have a furman balanced PB-40 or something like that. It's pretty nice. I mean, I have never used anything other than that, so how should I know? I guess I don't. I suck.

Giving a shout out for Behringer... it works, it's cheap, it's just a patchbay.

Neutrik NYSPP (48 Point TRS Patch Bay) is pretty decent for the money, they are under $100 each new. I have 3 of these in my commercial tracking studio, they get a lot of use. Haven't had any problems. I have a friend in Orlando who has had these as well, for several years with no problems. My console has TT. I haven't noticed any difference in performance between TT and 1/4". For what it's worth, when I do mastering I don't use a patchbay.
