hmm, it has to be new?

I think the CAD kick mic comes in under $100
shure PG52
Carvin has a new kick mic for WAY under $100 but I haven't heard it.

I'd buy a used Audix D-6 or D112

in fact that's what I did

CAD KBM412

I love it, I use it and it kicks ass on bass cabs and guitar cabs too; for the creamy, rumbling and rolling lows.

$49!!!!!!!!!

shure pg52 sounds really bad, unless you want your kick drum to sound like a cardboard box.

I have been using the sennheiser E602 for the kick a LOT lately and I really like it.
It is cheap (in relative terms) and I dont EQ the kick at all.

Just shove it way in the drum. I usually run it about 3" from the beater, centered in the drum. Totally sounds too thwacky when you first put it up, but the rest of the band swallows that up pretty quick...

Try it out!

For another $30 or so you can probably get a D112 on eBay, otherwise 57, at least you'll still use it for other things once you get a better kick mic, and with a good sounding kick you can get a pretty good sound with a 57.
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.

Give the Superlux mics a try. I have two of their kick mics (different models) and they are great. They are around $60.
