you can detune the top three strings of the double slightly, and get the top to magically sparkle without "mushing up" the low end of the guitar.
Cool idea - so whaddaya detune 'em like 10 cents flat or sumthin?

How about tracking two takes, each one using a stereo pair of mics on the amp(s). Then pan each of the pairs hard left and right.

I am inspired to say that "YankeeRose" is about as cool as anything DLR did with VH.

That guy is just total. Real. Deal. (DLR not steve vai...)

Yeah, "Yankee Rose" is great. The whole "Eat 'em and smile" record is pretty freakin' awesome.

I like Andy Summers' chorused guitar, but only when it's used by Andy Summers on Police tunes.

roland jc120 is maybe the wierdest amp ever made. I make an effort to try not to, but every single time I plug into one of those I wind up either playing a police song or playing sometthing off the king crimson discipline record (ILIKEIT!), it just makes THAT sound.

The rap in the store at the head of that music video should have totally landed DLR a second career's worth of acting...

I dont feel tardy, gimmie something to write on.
