i am gonna buy a deck from blevins. i would like to pay the extra $ to know that it has no major issues. he has these 3 all for about the same price. i want use it mostly for mixdown, but also for tracking. i feel all 3 are pretty well made decks, sonically which would be superior: not necesarily the cleanest, but the fatest and most "tapey"
its on like donkey kong!!!!

I can't really help with which deck to buy, but did have a recent purchase from Blevins to rave about. In December I bought a '79 JH-16 from Blevins and the service was fantastic! Randy went way above and beyond the call to bring that beast up to Chicago on a deadline, load it in, and help us set it up and get it going well. He even stayed in the city overnight and checked back with us the next day (the 1st day of a big session with a new client) to make sure everything was running well. We had a slight problem with one repro card, and he left me a spare to install during a break so we could keep things rolling. Can't say enough good things about how the deal went down.

From my perspective Blevins Audio = buy with confidence. Good luck...
I thought this club was for musicians. Who let the drummer in here??
