as much as i'd love tapeop to be monthly, let's not give larry a grabber by suggesting it too much. i for one would like to keep him and his fabulous magazine around for a while.

i have only received the magazine 1x or 2x over the last year, but it wasn't sequential - I received one about 3-4 months ago, so I don't think it is a registration issue. before moving to my current house in 3 years i think i missed maybe 2 issues in NYC and my VA apt. is there a tapeop thief on my new mailing route?

Wow there is a lot of complaining about not getting issues.Do you guys have the free subscription? I have also had problems getting mine on a regular basis, but it does say when you subscribe that it is sent third class and never garaunteed. maybe it's time to get a normal subscription. I could not possibly put a value on the knowledge I've gained from tape op and wouldn't mind helping out cash wise either. Just a thought.

how about enough of the 'it is free so get over it thing', huh?

i know it is free, and so does everyone else. i also know that even if i get 1-2 issues in the mail it is still cheaper than buying it every month vs. a 1st class subscription. i also know that 3rd class mail has a better successful delivery rate than 1 in 6, which is about how frequently i get mine.

I don't think there is a big problem in trying to figure out how big the problem is.

That new letter (in the Jan/Feb issue) from Pete Townshend is about as good a recommendation as a magazine could have.

I gladly pay for mine. $7 Canadian. The last issue, #44, at least my copy, was missing an article and a bunch of pages, while 3 of the articles were printed twice. Hmmmm. Did not know there was a new one. Now I have something to look forward to. I am so lonely..........
