affordable reverb recommendations?

I realize that there are a million different styles, tastes and applications, but i'm curious what y'all think is a good, versatile, affordable reverb unit. I'd use the beautiful reverb in the parking garage downstairs, but people keep parking their cars in it! Rude!

Yamaha SPX-90 cheap but very usable verbs and also good flanges, phase etc. Todd

If you keep your decay times pretty short, the Lexicon MPX 110 is pretty usable and very affordable. Much better than anything comparable in Alesis' bag 'o tricks, IMHO.

I think if you add an LXP-1 (older and smaller Lexicon) to the list of posts here already you will have a nice array of reverbs. Plus you will have saved some good money.

For a stereo spring reverb -Micmix XL-305 is vey cool. I got mine for $40.

Yes LPX-1, MPX-100, SPX-90, REV-7... I'm also fond of my Ibanez SDR-1000. It's true stereo, which makes a big difference. I believe it's actually a Sony chip used in it. Got one recently for $150 as my original has started acting up. You just have to get to know any of these. Some sounds are great, some .. so so. I love tweaking sounds in these. I do ok with my Quadraverb too. Digitech 256 isn't half bad either. Probably find one for real cheap. I use my 126 in my keyboard rig now, and it's hand...I guess I don't have any "not cheap" verbs in the racks..

I'll third it. Cheap and very good.
I also have a Midiverb 4 (I think) that has been on patch #19 for about 4 years.
Patch 19 kicks ass on many things. Mostly vocals.
They should have just made a patch 19 box to begin with.

Ibanez SDR1000 has been a long-time west coast secret weapon. It was made to compete w/the Lexicon PCM70. Get the SDR1000+, with its auto-panning features. I've seen em cheeeeeeep on ebay

The crown jewel of Alesis Midiverbs; the Midiverb II.
I own a couple. Maybe three. I should own three if I don't.
Don't pay more than $75 or so including shipping - they are pelntiful as far as I can tell.

The SPX-90 is also a good reverb and FX unit. 2 of 'em as well reside in my rack.

I like the Alex even better than the LXP-1. Very inexpensive, not extremely flexiable, but cool.
