Pacific Pro Audio R-one Ribbon case or bag or black pouch

Post by versuviusx » Tue Feb 01, 2005 2:58 pm

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING

I think it's pretty clear that the majority of people want the ribbon mic that has the the xlr cable connected, as everyone knows what it sounds like. also i think it's safe to say that we all want the silver grill and not the gold one as it will substantially increase the cost and it will not make any sonic difference at all! so now we just need to aggre on this topic. so please read the following:

do you guys want aluminum cases or just colored boxes. we need to aggree on one of these options because it will affect the price of shipping. here is a picture of the aluminum box and the colored paper box.
also i was thinking maybe we could go with the black pouch and the paper box and save money.

YOU Have 3 options:

IF you are in for the ribbon mic with the aluminum CASE type AC(aluminum case)

IF want JUST THE PAPER BOX WITH THE RIBBON type PB(paper Box).

IF you Want the ribbon with the paper box and the Black pouch type Black pouch.

so the format is AC,PB, black pouch option.

Looks like we might be getting confllicting posts going on here. According to Garth it was silver grill, cord, aluminum case in the other (22 pages and counting) post.

AC

But my understanding is that $218 is for the aluminum case, right? I don't think we have an option anymore......

Yeah, I'm confused on this, too... I thought it was settled. We ARE all going with PPA, right? Or is there a mutiny? I hope not (on the mutiny). I've already put my check in the mailbox.

But just for shits and giggles:

AC

which makes me think of Alice Coltrane and Aleister Crowley. And Albert Camus.
