The Knights Templar have to be involved somehow.

Asylumdigital was number 23 on the order list, and we all know what that means...

It's funny. People keep asking Larry to somehow get involved but i think he's being really smart by steering clear of this entire thing.

I've dealt with PPA before and ordered through them, legit business, why would they start ripping people off now?

I've bought stuff from PPA in the past and they are very straight up and dealt with me honestly, they know thier stuff-
Why should larry get involved, I'm sure he's busy enuff, get a grip and don't sink the whole deal by making it more of a headache-
don't do it if your scared of losing your $$$,

I now believe that I sent PPA the $200 plus just to keep myself from reading the relative threads any further.

Here is what I know, We are doing it, There is another guy that has his own thread going and feel free to join him. I do not know where he got his numbers at, they are different than what I got from China.
I have a small order of 100 mics for the store that should ship before the chinese new year, this means I should see them (I hope) in about 30-40 days, so well ahead of the tape op order. This means there will be a sample of the work available and also we will make sure they can perform.
I have no doubt these guys are legit, but it is a factory I have not used before. (i have spoken with people that have) so I am not sure what the hysteria is all about. If anyone wants out just let me know.
I have sent them almost 10K already for my first order (not tape-op money).
If it is a trust issue with Pacific Pro Audio (or me) feel free to call any one of these manufacturers and check us out. http://www.pacificproaudio.com/prod_disp.asp
...or just bail on the order.

Bingo.

This is getting entertaining, in the same way that Hellen Keller jokes are entertaining.

Despite the pissed off attitude of a couple of you, I really wasn't trying to cause problems for what I hope to be a great deal for all of us interested in these ribbons.

I was simply genuinely concerned after receiving emails from people that I know in this industry who were a bit skeptical about the whole deal.

Maybe I was being too much of a pansy with $200 bucks and should have just jumped, but I figured it was worth double checking before going for it.

Thanks for those of you who calmed my fears.

Read Robert Anton Wilson's Illuminatus trilogy and you'll get it. Burroughs mentioned 23 in relation to odd coincidences and conpiracies as well. It was a reference to that, and you happened to be #23. Nothing personal. (Unless you're one of the Mason/Templar/Illuminati conspiracists, that is.)
