Eventide 2016 Digital Reverb

Post by The Real MC » Sat Feb 05, 2005 6:17 pm

Well, mine arrived this week. I made some sample mp3s and put up a web site. If you want to know what a $2,000 reverb sounds like, check it out.

Curious how you folks think this compares to a Lexicon PCM or similar. This is one sweet sounding 'verb.

The 2016 is definitely my next purchase. I got to demo one during a radio VO session a couple months ago and it's just gorgeous! Of course, I didn't have a use for it on the project but it was a pretty inspiring piece of gear.

I would need to use one on an ambient-heavy composition before I could compare it to the lexi's patches.

Where'd you buy it? How much did you pay?

I bought it from Sonic Circus. They had a demo model so I grabbed it :)
