upgrade while keeping 4 ins outs trs

I have the delta 44 and im pretty happy with mics and pres that i have.


question is... what is a good replacement for the delta that won't add extra weak pres that i don't want to pay for but gives me at least 4 channels of great A/D for less than 500?

im open to suggestions but i have to have at least 4 channels of io. i consider all the delta stuff to be about the same as the presonus stuff and maybe the e-mu stuff too, am i wrong?
