Hey, 2 single 1176s vs. 2-1176

the black 1176s from UA look way cooler. they also are probably the closest in terms of specs to the originals. but two of them would be about $800-900 more than a 2-1176...once again can someone explain why? I must be missing something. Also, how hard is it to stereo link two 1176s? not that I could afford even a Behringer compressor right now..

alot of people think the purple mc76/77 is closer to the original than the universal reissues.

2 expensive meters. 2 chasis. 2 power transformers. 2 instruction manuals. 2 boxes. 2 profit margins. VS 1 of these with the dual box.

It adds up, and thats just looking at it not knowing whats in the dual box.
