I have never known a cowbell not to cut through, atleast the one's I have.

I was on a session recently for the Latin Grammy's where the drummer actually did complain that the cowbell didn't cut through enough. I had to run in and throw up a dedicated "cowbell mic". The whole time the drummer was telling me it's "very important for this kind of music", which is true, but i thought i was gonna shit my pants. I guess he had a fever...
