Hi,
I will be going to DC in couple of weeks. Is there anyone who can direct me to some ok place to stay? I hear it can be dodgy at times. Thanks.

Take care,
Violet

Depends where you are going to be going to - that is, you wouldn't want to stay in MD if you actually aregoing to be going to "work" in VA. Or are you actually staying in DC? What is your budget?

hi,
i'm going to dischord (DC) and inner ear (VA). so, i'm not sure where to start. i land at ronald reagan. my budget is ok, though of course i don't want to have to spend over $100 a night to stay. thanks.

Sweet, who're you working with at IE? I would find a place in arlington or old town if you're gonna be working in shirlington. Also it's easier to get into DC if you're coming from that side of town instead of from the other (my) side. Of course I live here so I have no idea where hotels are.

In the interests of helping out a fellow tapeoper... I'm quite familiar with the DC metro area, as I live here, and may be able to dig up something non-dodgy for you... PM me if you're still looking...

Cheers...

likewise; there aren't any metro stops near where you'll be spending your time.
