I just used one of these live, and this is what I've come to. Nice layout smooth faders, not so great pre-amps, really amazing eq's for such an low priced console. Somebody told me that they used the EQ"s from the 'Ghost '. Sounds like it to me.

I don't know, but I have a GB4 and I can honestly say it sounds killer! Great pres, great EQ, great metering.....

I have one of the older 24 channel ones. It's alright, but hardly spectacular. Mic amps are fairly decent, EQ likewise. There's a ton of features on it though. Talkback, 6 aux sends, direct outs, 2trk returns etc. Sound of the board is rather 'grey' to me. It's definitely not quite as pristine as some of the newer Soundcrafts. Apparently the LX7II sounds better, but I haven't heard it.
