viking mic pres are they any good?

hey i was wondering if anyone knew about the viking mic pres? i was wondering if they were any good. i'd love to be able to find out. are they noisy? are they junk? do they have a lot of gain or no gain?

They're not hi-fi but, in general, the tube stuff is pretty playable. Some of the deck amps came w/ telefunken 12AX7 flatplates (6 of them). If the deck wasn't used much, that makes for a pretty valuable deal on the ebay..er...open market.

I had a few about two years ago that I left on the side of the house when we moved. They sound really nice as a bass DI but there wasn't ANY room left anywhere in ANY vehicle ... hopefully, some young punk is tracking with it.
