reason and protools

that program that lets you use reason and protools together (i can't remember the name), do you have to buy that separately or does it come with reason?

If you're talking about Rewire, I think the full version of Reason comes with it. I use Nuendo, not Protools, but that is how it worked for me.

yes, it's rewire. I have Reason 2.5 and Pro Tools 6.4 and it works great together.

If you are talking about protools 5.1 or any of the OS9 versions, the program is not rewire, it's called refuse. They have a web site you can download a demo at so you can try it and conclude that it would be easier to just bounce the reason loops to disk and import them into protools as audio.

That's what I did. Then again, I don't have much patience for that sort of thing. You can use protools to drive the midi in reason, just use the iac bus in OMS.
