upstate new york guitaramp repair

does anybody know any decent guitar amp repair shops in upstate newyork? say the orange county area? I had a problem where my amp was feeding back, i put a post up about it, i fixed the tubes, did everything that was recomended and the prob hasnt changed... thanx ya'll

Parkway Music in clifton park can. but Clifton park is pretty far from you. It's way north up by Saratoga. Upstate NY is suddenly a lot bigger once you have to drive thru it

Yeah, when I hear "upstate" i think Buffalo.

Orange County? Like Monroe/Middletown/etc.? Try Alto Music. i've used the one in Rockland (in **shudder** Spring Valley) to recap an old Bandmaster. They did a nice job. But there's one somewhere aroundabouts Monroe I think.

Here in Ithaca you can go to Guitar Works, Rumble Seat, or Voodoo Amps, all within 2 blocks downtown. But that's not near you.

I've got my bass in for setup at Parkway right now...No amp issues at the moment thank goodness.

OC is now considered Upstate? Damn, I better stop calling Syracuse "Central NY".

That's what I call Ithaca, parlormusic. Are you in Syracuse?

People in NYC refer to the Hudson River Valley as "Upstate." They don't refer to the rest of New York at all. :wink:
