One For All You Oddity Junkies....

Post by heylow » Sun Nov 30, 2003 3:33 pm

Check this out...

I was looking for some kind of lo-fi kinda mic so I was searching EBAY for "harmonica mics" and came across this guy.

I ordered one from him this weekend...the "volume knob" model. He seemed cool over email and if this mic gets even a couple cool tracks of SOMETHING, it'll be well worth the $25 I paid him.

I don't have any affiliation to this guy nor have I actually HEARD it yet, but I DID order one and I thought I'd pass it along for you oddity junkies. They're hand made and quite interesting...plus they're CHEAP! That's all gotta count for SOMETHING.

HA HA! Joel...I almost put YOUR name in the subject line of this thread! Somehow I knew YOU'D be all over em!

As for being a better writer...I don't know where you get THAT! I quite enjoy your posts, actually.

I love stuff like this. I ordered a "bova ball" because souondguy emailed me and said " i thought of you when I saw this."

Awesome. I am glad to be the weird mic guy. I do have a bunch of weird stuff, dont I....

I would rather read heylow's review. Joel seems to be the worst writer on the board for readability only second to me :D

Ummmm...I think it IS something along that lines, Blu. I mean, you don't think this guy gets custom fabricated bodies for $25 mics, do you?

Silly, silly man
