tascam msr24 users out there?

anybody using the 24 track 1" tascam machine msr24?
there's fun city wharton tier's place in nyc but who else?

looking for a tech to make a house call in nyc...

Yeah, I got one. Its badass!! If you got problems I think tascam still services all their stuff. Im out in SANTA CRUZ, CA. Whats up?

I have an MSR24s. Beware, Tascam doesn't have a lot of the parts anymore, last I checked. A tech I use up here (Orange Sound) serviced my machine _thoroughly_ in 1999 (!) and he had to scrounge for parts.
Is there something you need done?

nah it's doing ok..just one channel is out and I have to take it out and check it but Im too fuckin lazy [or too busy]
got a new pinch roller last year and it's working great

guitarwhore, Tascam is out of stock on the pinch rollers for the MSR24 and I need a new one, my only recourse is an expensive refurb by Athan in SF... where did you get your pinch roller from?
