me too...i wanna know about that guitar tone he gets on a house in not a motel...i know about the double tracking thing. but that tone is very good and cuts through everything

ever noticed how on a couple of the songs on 'forever changes'--before all the instruments kick in--how there's like this high pitched hum or tone or whatever? What is that? Is that the mic pre on one of the instruments?

Yeah, the noise on that album is horrible....
I fear what they'll do to try to get rid of it when the remastered version comes out.

Isn't there already a remastered forever changes?

I have the white one with the cardboard cover round the jewel case..I think it says remastered..

could be wrong..

How recent?

I don't follow remaster news, I try to buy Nice Price cds whenever I can. Seriously.

Mainly, I was just joking, anyways. Sterling can do whatever it wants. It no gonna sell me no thang, yo.

I just put it in..sounds great..the dynamic range isnt killed..I hear some clipping though..that could have been in the orig..

I can't find my CD version at the moment, but that is one of my favorite albums ever. Production-wise and just as a great rekkid.
