Replacement Elastic String For Shockmount Mic Holders

Post by Derrick » Thu Jan 15, 2004 9:14 am

Hi all...

Anyone know a good place or replacement for the elastic string for "shockmount" mic holders? I need to resting because the top elastic string broke and the bottom is gonna go too. For the moment I'm using some cheap crap I got at a cloth store that works in a pinch, but want something better... Thanks!!

Local camping store had some heavier black elastic cord in the rock climbing section. Might be a bit too heavy-duty, but it worked fine for some DIY shockmounts.
