I am looking to get some console strips racked and was wondering if anyone could recommend someone in the Austin area or close to it.

there aint SQUAT in austin, tech-wise. I send my stuff to a dude in arizona, and he takes a year to fix it. you know who I would ask? Steven Hennig at heart of texas music on south lamar. (ray's oldest son) he's been around forever, he deals in pro audio stuff, and last time I talked to him, he was talking about our dearth of techs, and acting like HE was going to do something about it.
my arizona guy is a perfectly good tech, you just get a big dose of inconsistancy and glacial waiting periods. If steve can't help you, ask here again and I'll give you andy's number (arizona glacier dude)

You can try the guys at Million Dollar Sound. Their # is 512.416.7600. Ask for Curtis, he'll help you out. If they can't do it , he'll know somebody who can.
I'm a drinking man with a guitar problem.
