Analog studio with large boomy live room

Post by mattwalsh » Wed Feb 11, 2004 8:44 pm

Hi--

My band is looking for a place to do our next record. We're looking for an analog studio with large boomy live room. A warehouse, an old church. Something like that. Something well-maintained and decently priced would be great also.

Any suggestions?

Please respond by email to matt@threespheres.com -- I may forget to check this board.

Thanks so much.
Matt W.

we got the place for you a 100' x 25' natural brick room with wood floors
2" 24 trk, 1/2" 2trk mix down and super rad 40 channel adm console,
protools and some other crapy digital shit and we can get anything
you want (rent) for cheap (my partner is a tech at vintage king)
we also have a upright grand that sounds sweet and a rhodes, as well
as a bunch of cool amps like 18 watt marshalls and old svt bass rig.
credits include eraseeratta, judhajohson, small brown bike, thunderbirds-
are now, and a bunch of other stuff, the way I would like to do it
would be $3000 for a month, this way you are not looking at the clock
and we will have a bunch of time to do it right, email me for a demo
disc. norm. chemicalpink@hotmail.com

this is a older track that was mostly tracked on 2" then dumped to
protools and mixed in protools (ick) its was done way before we got
the big fat console that is my life, but it came out o.k. and its a great
song, Judah Johnson,http://www.judahjohnson.com/discography ... 8-ruse.mp3 Dan Johson will be recording more stuff at our studio in march,
I'm hoping we will use less protools and we are going to mix through
the console this time damnit! by the way what band is moogrock with?
