mannuals off the web

I just got a fostex g16 and i don't have the mannuals. is there a place where i can print them off the web?

i have been to fostex.com and they have the owners and service manuals for $14 and $21 is there a cheeper site?

Try Mark Glinsky's Manual Manor, he seems to have everything. I don't know the URL but you can type that into Google and he'll come up.

$14 is not too bad for a manual. you could also ask some nice person to photocopy the manual if it's not too thick. you might also be able to arrange a trade. a certain tapeopper was looking for a tascam 564 manual and i photocopied and mailed from japan (i'm so nice). unfortunately i never heard back from him... paul, are you out there?

Mark Glinsky is a great guy to deal with and very helpful. I didn't see a manual for the G16 listed on his site, but you can check for yourself here. Though if he has it, Mark probably won't be much cheaper than $14.00

I've checked and Mark's web sight and it dosen't have it

I know I sound like a cheep basterd but I'm trying to save money for a good MRL tape

Another site to check is AGTannenbaum. I have purchased manuals from them in the past. Use google and search either "tannenbaum"+"manual" or "AGTannenbaum"+"manual".
