Where the hell are the Coloradans?

John, it may just be you and I, but yeah, I'll be there. I'll wear my Saints hat.

Witness the magic of TapeOp's Denver/Boulder contingent, taken with my crappy camera phone. Hopefully we can get a few more people out to the next one!

That's pretty solid. At the next meet-up, insert the long-haired kid in the picture!

I just stumbled upon this thread. I suggest you guys check out Gold Sound on south Colorado Blvd. I bought my passive monitors there, and they always have something I have never seen before. Also, if you wow-'em with your extensive AE knowledge you can sometimes convince them that a certain coveted piece of gear isn't worth what they're selling it for.

Count me in on the next meet-up as well. It looks like you had fun, though that might have been for the picture(joke). I can just keep checking this thread, or if you are all on myspace we could organize some kind of group there. If nothing else, Cherry Sound may be hosting a private Future Jazz Project "show" in the next month... Chris and I would welcome any and all TOMBers.

Lads

I'll be back in Denver over Memorial Day; anyone up for a rendezvous?

I live in Thornton, off 120th, a couple miles east of I-25. My studio is south, though. Near Iliff and Quebec.

Do you work in Studio Soren?
I know where all that is. I am near 44th and Federal, just east of there.

No, I'm at Motaland--or at least, I will be in August. Me and Bart (Motaland's owner) are going into a partnership. I get access to a good room, and he gets access to my gear. Combining our stuff will make for a pretty sweet setup for local bands that don't have the money for an expensive studio.
