Post by dsw » Tue Jun 26, 2007 4:36 pm

Hi guys,
can any of you NYC-ites recommend someone in NYC that would do a good job of record transfer? I have a customer who wants to know....
Thanks in advance.

I do transfers of 12", 10" & 7" at 33-1/3 & 45rpm.
Critical to a great transfer is to have every component in the transfer path to be of high quality.

I'm using:
vintage late 70's Sansui SR717 turntable ->
the legendary Shure V15VMR cartridge (the best they've ever made as far as I'm concerned)
with NOS Shure VN5MR stylus ->
Simaudio Moon LP 5.3 preamp (this thing is ridiculously clean and accurate) ->
Mytek Stereo96 ADC

Inexpensive rates - you can email me directly at steve at totalsonic dot net for further info.

(I can do tranfers from 1/4" & 1/2" 2-track at 7.5, 15 & 30ips; cassette, MiniDisc, and 16bit DAT as well)

Best regards,
Steve Berson
