i made my own website. simple.

Regional activities, relevant news, job openings, studio searches, local beer nights (not a forum to plug the new album you just worked on)

The site looks good. Simple and clean = awesome.

Drop this anywhere in between <head> & </head> if you want to cover the search engine bases. Drop it into each page and change the page title on each page to match the page content.

FILL IN YOUR INFO FOR EACH META TAG BELOW

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

<title>Site Name | Page Title</title>

<meta name="abstract" content="Short description about yourself/site/services/etc. - Keep it one sentence" />

<meta name="copyright" content="Your COPYRIGHT INFO" />

<meta name="description" content="Description that will show up in search engine results under your site name and page titles" />

<meta name="keywords" content="Keywords that potential searches might use to find you - DO NOT DUPLICATE KEYWORDS" />
If anyone here needs a website I can build it at no charge(except Domain & Hosting). I'm trying to expand my portfolio to include more music/artist/arts related content. I only ask for marketing rights.

I use Drupal (CSS HTML PHP Javacript). The admin section will allow you to make changes without knowing how to code. Drupal is like Wordpress but it's much more than a blog maker.

joelmoore,

I just may take you up on that very generous offer. I'll send you a PM in a couple days when I have some free time.

looks good John, super understated. i'm glad it seems like more and more people are coming up with simple webpages that are informative and load fast, especially with the proliferation of myspace pages that are full of way way way too much html crap. i just recently put a proper website together for myself that integrates pretty nicely with my bandcamp page, and tried to keep it fairly simple yet still have a bit of media for everyone's enjoyment. it feels really nice to be able to send people to a website i built myself.

cheers.
