Please list your studio - NY region: Rock band

Post by joelmoore » Sun Jan 31, 2010 11:08 am

Looking for an analog/digital studio in the New York area to record a 4-piece rock band. Will be tracking at least 8 songs - prob 12. Please if possible give some idea of cost - if even just a ballpark number.

preferences:

engineer
healthy mic cabinet
2" tape
nice room
nice outboard toys and/or ITB equiv
negotiable rates for bulk time

Band sounds like this:

Thanks

I'm at strangeweatherbrooklyn.com

You should check out the bunker as well. Those guys have a great tape machine and know how to use it.

Hi
We'd be happy to help - have all the things you mentioned plus - two tracking rooms with 15' ceilings & iso, Neve & Neotek consoles etc.

we have a great live room with 2 big iso's, a badass mic locker, a great Studer A80 2" machine, as well as Radar and PTHD with Lynx converters if the project goes digital.

hit me up with a PM or email if you want to come check it out. the cost, as always, depends on how long you like to take with each song and how good the players are... always the same drill... if you're interested in the studio, we can discuss the budget side privately.

cheers,
john

LoHo's available, probably on the high end price wise. No website yet, some info here:
