One of Portland's most creative and controversial native sons has passed away after a long illness.

used to run into him over by my old place in NW and at the trader joes. nice guy.

yeah, I used to work at Ken's Bakery in NW (good food, terrible place to work). I saw him there all the time. Nice guy.

I never met him, but he was a cool guy.

Everyone should read "Don't worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot." It makes me laugh like crazy every time I read it.
