See this thread:

And use the search feature and look for "Boston"

And...

The latest issue of the magazine features and article on my favorite Boston studio: Q Division

what specifically are you looking for?

A lot of the smaller rooms have closet in the last few years?

Q Division is awesome if it is a band oriented project. Trident 80B in studio B, Neve 8068 in studio A. Look to the article.

Mad Oak is really nice as well. TONS of outboard and a really cool sounding room.

Kissy Pig is great for jazz ensembles, singer songwriter sort of things. They have a Neve VR.

Zippah has a Neotek and a nice selection of outboard and instruments.

The more budget rooms have closed up and these guys are left.

my place is $25/hour for tracking. not nearly as fancy as the places listed above...no neves or tridents here that's for sure. big room with high ceilings though.

to the OP: i highly recommend MoreSpaceEcho. great results, very reasonable rates, and a super nice guy to boot.

Kurt Schneider did 28 Degrees Taurus here awhile back. not sure about the new record. a lot of the folks in that scene have passed through here in the last couple of years with Kurt.
