Resurrection?

Can't really tell if a beer night ever even happened! I'm new to town and looking to meet up.

I'm in Los Feliz with no car, so Silverlake, Echo Park, Hollywood, etc are best for me.

HEY! I've been sitting at the bar at the Roost for 5 years waiting for you guys to show up! I've subsited on popcorn and PBR all this time, sleeping under the crappy plastic dartboard, and knitting new clothes out of the ironic thrift store sweaters that get left behind every night. The only downside is I'm afraid that if I walk outside after 5 years of sitting under approximately 25w worth of red light bulb, I'll immediately go blind. And some idiot puts "paradise city" on the jukebox about 30 times a day.

I will be totally up for this, but it'll have to wait a month or two until the madness from having our second child dies down enough to allow for such things as going out on my own to drink. As it is now, I have to REALLY push to get time to actually get into the studio to do the work that's backing up like mad...

On the east side tip, anybody ever go to the Red Lion Tavern over on Glendale/Rowena? We lived in Los Feliz until last June and I was always wanting to try it out but never got around to it. Other than that, I don't know shit about good bars around there, I usually drink on the west side (not a judgement, just a reality of how things tend to go).

Another vote for making this happen.

I've never been to Red Lion, but have heard good things. I am a fan of Eagle Rock Brewery (actually in Glassell Park). Good, cheap, local beer, though the tap room can get crowded quickly.

Hey, anyone meet up?

I'm interested...Red Lion, Eagle Rock Brewery are both great. How about Edendale in Silverlake (on Rowena) or Verdugo Bar in Eagle Rock? etc etc

Tons of great eastside meeting/drinking places.

I just moved to L.A. and would like to drink a beer with some other recording engineers. Any of you out there? I live in Sherman Oaks.

As soon as the Coronavirus vaccine is available to all (not just first responders and high-risk individuals), scheduling a LA beer night/get-together is a must. Keep it in mind, everyone.
