Need 1/4" transfer in San Diego...

Post by roy » Sun Feb 19, 2006 10:50 am

Alright, thanks to those who reponded to my original post. Turns out my client doesn't need a 24 track tape machine. He needs to transfer a 1/4" master to ProTools and CD. So, now I am looking for someplace in San Diego that can do this.

He has only a CD worth of music, but it's spread across several reels. Tape speed was 15ips.

Also, a rental house would be an option here, since I could do the transfer in my own studio.

Thanks in advance for the great advice from all the members here.

I'm not in San Diego, but, you could FedEx me the reels and I could transfer them here at my studio in Chicago.
