Congrats! That's a sweet gig!

I'll vouch -- I went to see these guys when they played in CH, and they were awesome. I'd call it Americana mixed with psychedelia. Lovely. Really, really nice!

Too cool,
I'm in Knoxville and am going to the show.
You'll love the venue. It's a newly redone downtown Theater...great stage and acoustics.
Maybe we can grab a beer.

Crap, dude. Assuming you're playing the Dickson Street Theater in Fayetteville, I'll be playing a show one block away from you that night.

I'd kill to see Wilco, and of course Phonograph. :D Maybe I'll call in sick.

rivers, shoot me a PM and we can figure out how to do a beer.... thanks for the kind words, apropos of nothing... and thanks for coming to the chapel hill gig after work!

i think the AR show is in some big arts center... i can't remember.

we are psyched... still trying to figure out how to not lose a ton of money on the trip from nyc, but it will be worth it regardless... we are also looking for places to crash, so if anyone has a big musician friendly spot with decent parking for a 15 passenger van, drop me a PM... will be rewarded with guest list spots or whatever we can do to help out.

Wow...awesome, I'm very jealous. Does Ken Coomer still play with them? I met him once after a show and he's probably the funniest musician I've ever talked to.

no, ken doesn't play with them anymore, glen kotche is on drums now... the shows have been changed, it's now the 14th in Tallahassee, FL, and the 16th in Knoxville... anyone who is going to either of those shows, PM me and i'll give you my number so we can beer it up after our set and watch wilco!

cheers,

John, you should post some pictures of the tennesee theatre. That place is beautiful. Those pictures are really fun of you guys at sound check... People would dig that. Talk to you when you get back from Japan...
