Any Asheville NC geeks out there?

Regional activities, relevant news, job openings, studio searches, local beer nights (not a forum to plug the new album you just worked on)

Any Asheville NC geeks out there?

Just wondering if any of y'all are in the Asheville area. I'm looking at the NYC and Portland (my home town) beer nights and getting jealous. Any takers?

God I miss that place. Lived there from 1994-1998. Went to UNCA and graduated from the music department. My second home was Vincent's Ear.

Next time you're in town I have a nice downtown studio space we can slug PBRs at. It's close enough to hit the old vincent's space with a can of beans.

Is that Dan's old studio space in the Alley? Dan Rosenberg is now teaching at UNCA I believe. If so I've been in that building summer of 1997. He used to run a snake down to the old Gatsby's and Vincent's to do live recordings!

No, I work at that place though. Altamont recording is there now. My place is called Hi-Five and is actually on chicken alley right down the street.

Liberty... :)
I'm old, tired, busted, impatient and my feet hurt that's why I sit all the time. Deal with it and hand me that remote while you're close.
