Joel, how did you hook up with them? I will definately have to get that album. I see that Kool Keith and Amon Tobin had a part in it (two of my favs). Mike Patton has always been one of my favorites too. I would love to work with that guy. A friend of mine scored "Firecracker", but didn't get a chance to meet him.

I produced one of the songs on the peeping tom record.

not the one we played on Conan.

it's cool that you were on conan with such cool musicians, but I have to say that the musical and lyrical content of the song were very disapointing, especially for a Patton joint. congrats though, ounds like a cool experience!

I actually like the fact that the lyrics are just completely making fun of the current state of pop music in america. That is why there are corny references to britney spears and pink... Like recycling drugs... a ridiculous concept... Just keep using the same "joint" over and over... It is impossible to get the same high from it after the first time...

I think it is pretty smart, actually.

If anyone's ever seen "The Golden Child", the late 80s movie with Eddie Murphy (or early 90s), the drummer reminded me of "Fu".

No one who hasn't seen that is going to know just what I'm talking about.
I'm all about a little kick and snare

Wasn't that Josh Freese, not in the movie, but playing on Conan with Joel.

My guitar rig was a rented backline thingy. A marshal JCM 2000 thingy. Totally a sesh dickweed amp but it was perfect with my les paul for that uber-processed metal chug I was playing.

The drummer is Joe Tomino from Dub Trio.
