My nephew, Max
This is a shameless fund raising attempt by a concerned uncle: Me.
My cool, sweet, amazing nephew, Max, which many of you met at my wedding, has been determined to be on the "autistic spectrum." [Max is 5 years old].
My sister, Libby, would know more about the whole clinical part of this, I just know that the little guy needs a guide dog, much like a seeing eye dog for a blind person.
The program is amazing, and if you want more info, check out.. http://www.northstardogs.com/
This program is incredibly expensive, and I am trying to help My sister and her family raise the funds to make this happen.
Help a five year old kid!
Make any donation you can, it all makes a difference! if all of us chipped in 20 dollars, we would put a HUGE dent in what this little guy needs.
I set up a tiny little website for them...
You can donate there:

Thank you all. Please help me make a big difference in my nephew's life. he is a good guy, that just needs a little help. I am trying any avenue to help. Seeing a 5 year old in pain will make you do cuckoo stuff.... here is one of them!
Thanks.
Sincerely,
-Joel Hamilton

Hey Joel, everytime I try to make a donation, it kicks me out saying my session has timed out. I'll try to do a regular send money request from within my paypal account, but you might want to check into that.
By the way, I have a 5-year-old son and I can't imagine having to go through that. My wife is a school psychologist, so I hear a lot of stories of kids with Autism. Best of luck to your sister.

Thank you all so much...
If you are having trouble, you can simply send it as "quasi cash" to libbyh@cape[dot com].
That is my sisters email, and the one for making the donations.
I am amazed, and humbled by the response here, guys. Super nice... amazing in fact.
Please know that i would do the same.... I dont know what to say actually aside from thanks.
Any amount will help, for real... lets keep it going! VIVA MAX!
Sincerely,
-Joel
