Willie's Guitars (http://williesguitars.com- they used to have Savage Audio do their repair (of Savage Audio fame), but I don't know who they have currently do their amp tech.

MyMusicStore (http://my-music-store.com/) ask for Ted... he does all of my guitar setup and repair, and he would know good amp techs.

Good Guys (St Paul)- quality work, take forever

Don't know about http://twintown.com for repairs.

Higher end than Willies even: http://solidbodyguitar.com/

If that floats your boat. Super nice guys and a very intimidating inventory. Also, Billy Gibbons has been known to stop in there. Furthermore, it's just down the road from this spectacular statue which is probably at least fifteen feet tall, on top of a bowling alley/hotel/bar called 'The Mermaid':

http://www.savageamps.com

Not saying others aren't good but I know Savage has the experience with tube amps. It's their thing.

unfortuneatly, if it is solid state it is probly not worth the cost of the bench time to get it looked at and most of the places listed may not want to deal with it at all.

I would recommend EMI on johnson and 29th in NE they do a lot more with solid state stuff.
