June 30th - circuit bending workshop! I'm sorely tempted, I just need to find something to bend.

I just signed up for this workshop. Only 3 spots left. Anyone else going? If so, what are you bringing to bend?

So the workshop was totally worthwhile. Sco, thanks for posting the link.

The teacher was both engaging and entertaining; the four hours flew by. If anyone plans on attending a future workshop, I suggest you bring a few things to bend (in case you fry the first one), a jewelers screwdriver if you have one, and a digital camera to snap pics of the inside before you start bending. And make sure you can open up the toy before you get there; the one I really wanted to bend had three stripped screws, and couldn't be opened until I drilled them out when I got home.

Next up, I'm going to bend my noggin!

Yamaha DD-5 and DD-6 drum machines (the ones with 4 little pads) are super easy to bend and make insane distorted drum loop sounds. I have done one of each and a friend of mine is using them for all the drum sounds on his Roland Space Echo inspired guitar record.

1970's guild Electric guitar > Big Muff > Meastro Fuzz tone > Boss DD6 > Ross Phasor > Roland SE 202 > 1960's Guild ThunderBass Amp.

DD5 and DD6 into console with Morley Echo Volume on Aux one, EH electric mistress on Aux 2, and a Akai Headrush on the main outs.

Add Beer and Riffage... Vocals about Vikings and giant slaying... Thats Tom.
