Looking for NYC Drum Studio July 21/22

Post by ShoulderTap » Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:02 am

Hi,

I am looking for a nice studio to track (at the very least) kit drums on July 21 and/or 22 (Sat and Sun). Looking for a place with a nice kit and different sound possibilities (might want to track in a big room as opposed to an isolated drum room).

We're looking to take the tracks in PT7 format. Might end up recording more than just drums there if we like it enough. Also, looking for a place with an in-house engineer.

Please let me know if you have a studio available for those dates (Manhattan preferred, but anywhere in NYC is a possibility), and what a day rate would be with engineer.

Thanks in advance!

If it's just drums, I'd take a look at the Buddy Project. It's small, but sweet sounding. It's in Astoria, a short trip from Manhattan via the Triboro.

Good luck.

Thanks for the endorsement. It always feels good to see your hard work acknowledged by the occasional kind words posted in a forum or album liner note credits.
