I must be living under a rock....I just found out that he died one year later and am so sad....I had no idea. I'm shocked...what a special guy. I can't believe I didn't read about it.

I saw him at Brownies in NYC around 95 (Easy Come Easy Go) and he was utterly amazing. His records were of course good (obviously with Go Betweens as well) but live he just lit the place up with his acoustic guitar and infectious melodies/lyrics.
