NYC Internship Opportunity Making Records

Internship with independent producer, mixer and engineer working in commerical studios in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as my private mixing studio. You will get real-world experience working on both independent and label records, see albums evolve from pre-production to tracking to mixing to mastering, work on a full-size analog console, study signal paths for full-band recording in detail, as well as learn some of the business aspects of making records.

You should have a flexible schedule, be quick to learn your role on sessions, be available for long hours on tracking days, have a passion for making records and want to learn how, be very orgnaized, timely, professional and self-motivated. Knowledge of Pro Tools editing a plus.

Previous interns have gained album credits and experience, allowing them to move on to work in professional studios. Please note that this is an unpaid internship.
