chicago TOMB meeting! why not?

Post by themagicmanmdt » Wed Apr 16, 2008 9:56 pm

alright, so, less talk, more action.

how would everyone feel about May 1st (a thursday)?

starting at about, eh, 7pm?

that way, we can be wrapped up (if we want) in time for some people to migrate back home and/or get sleep if they work in the morning.

place, place. well, there's two options: 1) find a nice local bar and hog up a section of the house, or 2) do a BYOB at someone's studio/recording space.

or, both, and not in that order (actually, the reverse!).

hmm?

so, reply if you're down. if everyone needs the date moved, we'll move the date, and a vote for either 1 or 2 or both.

(an aside: i've got an awesome bar by my studio. it's all microbrews. 3 floyds, IPA's, rogue, abbey ales - and it's all on tap, and relatively inexpensive for quite a kick. kinda like map room, but quainter and a little cheaper! unless, other ideas can trump.)

Would love to be there...I have a play opening that night, so I may have to stumble in very late.

I'm in, but I'd be attending after 8:30pm or so. I have rehearsal for a show on the 9th at the Old Town School...

So keep us posted
I thought this club was for musicians. Who let the drummer in here??

I'd love to, but Thursday tend to be tied up with choir practice. Most other days are OK, though. And I'm intrigued by the local bar mentioned...

I'd love to go, though I'd be tricky since I live out in Elgin. Thursday night doesn't work good for me. Tuesday nights usually do.

Oh man, I'll be up in Rockford at a car show all weekend. Would love to otherwise. Maybe if I get back early on Sunday I can get to the Elbo Room show.

Also can't make that date. I'm either going to be in Charleston or on my way back to for my buddy's graduation. I would be able to work the next week in.

It's possible, depends on how well tech week is going.
