well, this is the way the ball bounces sometimes!

i just got my studio on line here in nashville, tn - and i then i got booked out of town for the entire months of june and july. i thought i'd see if anyone wanted to rent the studio out at a stupid cheap monthly rate for june and/or july.

i'm thinking along the lines of my studio for the whole month for the same rate you'd pay for 3-4 days at a comparable studio, just so i can cover my overhead and have someone using the space instead of having it dark for two months. i've got a house assistant that can pop in to get you started and check in from time to time; or you can talk with him about his rate for a more involved schedule.

you can check it out at www.myspace.com/welcometo1979 for gear list, floor plan, pictures, etc.

the only caveat is that i'll have my outboard racks and microphones with me- but trust me, the rental price will reflect that - i have plenty of tt to xlr snakes so you can easily interface your outboard gear, and i'll even throw in a couple reels of 2", 1/4" and 1/2" tape.

hit me up on myspace, pm or at cym@mindspring.com with any questions. this is a great opportunity for someone who's trying to scrounge up a recording budget this summer!!!

Trying to work something out with Chris, who is a really cool guy. If anyone in Nashville wants to split/share some time with my band, send me a PM.

Thanks man!

I've had great response thus far- I'm hoping to have one person book june, and another book july--- by the way things are shaking down so far I'm confident I have it priced right!

Chris is super nice, he showed off the studio to my bandmate Ian, who is in Nashville at the moment, and we are dying to get in there.

We're looking for someone to use and pay for the studio for about 10 days (around $600) so we can cover the cost. Ian, who is an experienced engineer, will help you and/or a band in the studio for the cost of gas. Send me a PM!
