Seattle Beer Night

Post by hautacam » Fri May 09, 2008 12:28 am

I talked to the owner of Cafe Racer and got the upstairs area reserved for Thursday May 29th. I was hoping to do a beer night on the last Thursday of every month. This will be the first one, but if Thursday is a bad day of the week it can always be changed. I have already got a couple other people that aren't on this board interested in showing up, so there should a least be some people.

So I put together a site that is going to be organizing this local beer night. The hope was to get people from other boards and anyone else in the area involved. The site is called Seattle Creative Recording Community. I was planning to promote the night on a couple other boards and put up some posters around the city.

Let me know what you guys think.

The first monthly Seattle Creative Recording Community Beer Night will be Thursday May 29th, 8 pm @ Cafe Racer! We plan on having a beer night on the last night of every month.

Come out and talk all things recording!

Have some fun and meet some new people!

I'd be all over it if I didn't have a show @ the Green Room that night.

I talked to Trodden and Doc and they both said they were going to try and make it down for the beer night. Only one week away!

Hmm, this sounds fun!
I will be in mastering all day.
Perhaps I will have something good to report...

How late do you guys expect to be there? I have a band practice that night, but I might try to stop by later on.

I am planning on staying there until 1:30 or 2:00 when they shut the place down.

Much fun. Look forward to next time. Good to meet some geeks in my new old hometown. And only brief shit talking about how all this newfangled technology is ruining music. 8). Well done.

Last night ruled! It has been awhile since I laughed so hard. We need to do this again sometime soon. How about sometime in June?
