map room on armitage in wicker/bucktown is home to every beer, a good crowd, a lot of seating, and easy parking

Screw Rock Bottom, then! ...though they do tend to have some heavy seasonal ales that are pretty good.

Too bad I'll have to miss this one.

Sorry I've been MIA. Still recovering from the Cheech & Chong show!

Map Room sounds cool. Can we lock that in?

Regarding time, I'm open. I could make it there as early as 6:00. What's everyone else thinking? I'll have to bolt @ midnight to catch the last train back to Homewood.

Hey Hey!

I've some schedule clearing to do, but I'm really hoping to make it. I could use a night out and some good camaraderie. The location sounds like a winner.

What time were you guys thinking? I'm afraid if I sit there too long with these heavy duty brews, I might not make it to midnight! I can always kill time at Quimby's if you want to meet later.

1949 N Hoyne, Chicago

It's really on Armitage, on the corner of Armitage and Hoyne, just slightly west of Wicker Park / Bucktown.

Thanks for the link. Looks like the Damen stop on the Blue Line is the closest station.

What's everyone's ETA? Like I said, I'll probably be there early. I'll print out some signs for the table too.

Anything after 6-7:00 is OK for me.

Should we walk in holding signs like at the airport, or just wear name tags?

I'll be the fat, bald guy inna suit and tie (unavoidable coming from work), two earrings on the left.

You could describe me in terms of Brad Pitt: I look 100% the opposite, and also like Jolie would spit on me, and like I might like it.
