Philly Beer Night?

Post by AndyHutchinson » Tue Jan 27, 2009 12:21 pm

Any Tape Op'ers in Philly want to get together to talk shop and/or drink beer? Sorry if this has already been posted and I missed it.

We've done just that three times in the past 18 months, and I do agree that it is that time of year again. It's always been a lot of fun.

I am free every night of the week. I live in Port Richmond (proper) but I get out to Fishtown, NoLibs, Olde City and various hoods in South Philly often. I'd be up for it this week except for the fact that I am really under the weather with a cold/the flu.

Let's keep this thread going and see who we can get involved!

Hey Man,
Good to hear that this has been going on; I've only moved here 6 months ago, and I'm finally getting around to meeting other engineers. I'm available any night; I live in West Philly, but I'm open to meeting anywhere in the city. Maybe center city? We should get more people involved and keep the thread going. -Andy

Just keep this thread going.

I am recovering from a horrible cold. I should be good to go next week.

Anyone in Philly doing the RPM Challenge?

I'd be down for a few cold ones. We've hosted at 1935 a couple times and would be happy to do so again, unless folks prefer a bar instead. What do y'all think?

A mixed case of Philadelphia Brewing Company is like $28.88 up by me. That's $1.20 per beer. Good beer. Cheaper than the bars.

If two of us bring a case of this stuff, and everyone who is there chips in, that's a cheap night in front of the Neotek.

In these troubled economic times, Jeff speaks wisely.

I'm back to 100% post cold. I'll meet up when ever where ever.

I have like a bunch of new mixes that I'm going to bring along on the iPod for some feedback. New Swivel Chairs stuff.

Let's do it!

Awright folks -

Schedules permitting, what say you for a night of gear talk, revelry and bullshitting one night during the week of February 23rd? If we schedule far enough in advance we'll be likely to have a larger group.

Thoughts?
