PDX Studio Open House / Opening Party this Wed the 28th!!

Post by Yosh » Sun Oct 04, 2009 1:33 pm

We have just finished construction and we're really happy with how things turned out. Please come by between 7 and 11 pm this Wednesday the 28th, even if just for a few minutes, to check it out. Please call Josh @ 207.671.6356 or PM for directions

Newly renovated, The Map Room, a cooperative recording studio, is located in southeast Portland and is now open to competent freelance engineers. Our warm and comfortable, yet spacious studio offers highest quality microphones, preamps and compressors. The superb RME analog to digital conversion fronts our Pro Tools and Nuendo systems, and a Soundcraft Ghost fronts our MCI 1 inch 8 track and Otari 1/4 inch 2 track tape machines. We have an 800 square foot live and open control room with an eighty square foot isolation room, and a comfy 140 square foot lounge, each complete with tie lines for mic, headphone, and speaker signals. Instruments include: a Hammond M3 with a 44w Leslie, a Hamilton baby grand, Serge Modular Synth, Fender Rhodes, Fender Tweed Deluxe, and Fender Super Reverb. For more details check this out. We are offering the studio for $150/day. If you'd like to see the space or have any questions, please pm or call Josh at 207.671.6356. Thanks!
