Hi all! thanks for all the input on here... it's exactly what i needed..
just wanted to update anyone that may have posted some comments, that
i have the site back up with some pretty major improvements..
i am keeping the lime green in there some, but i lost the counter...
pop up pics were some interesting code, but it works well, and i like it much
better than the pop up windows..
i need to take some more photos when i get home and find some free time,,
but untill then, thank you to everyone for your insight!

'Contorl Room.'
Ditto on the bright green, and wide shots of the live room.
looks like a beautiful place!
Wow. "Contorl Room" was a big one..duh.. i think my brain does that flip the letters around thing sometimes. Good thing it only took 3 minutes to fix.

New mic company I haven't heard of?

Nice!
Overall, the site looks great. A couple of suggestions:
Upon first impression, it is obvious that the site is for a recording studio, but THAT IS ALL that is obvious. You may want to add a tagline right at the top (or include it in your logo) to crystalize the point of the site. A quick tagline of "A full service recording studio in Gainesville, Florida offering Pro Tools recording at discount rates" would effectively tell your visitor right away if you are what they are looking for or not. This will also help you in your SEO efforts since it is much more targeted. Your site may not show up on google if someone types "Recording Studio," but your chances are much better if they type "Recording studio Gainesville florida." And since that is the case, it wouldn't hurt you to include that same info in your meta tags for each of the individual html pages.
The only other thing I can think of would be the left navigation panel. All the content is there, but it seems like it could be divided into a couple different categories. You might consider separate categories for "Gear Lists" and one for "Photos"
Looks great though. If I weren't in Michigan I'd be thrilled to go record some stuff there. I also have a special place in my heart for Less Than Jake.
