I want to design for Tape Oppers for cheap/trades

The album is great, I'm glad I got to do artwork for it. It's silver and gold metallic ink screen printed on navy blue stock, with inkjet-printed CDs.
!
The Album sounds and looks great!
Seems like the TOMB family really came together on this one.

Nice job by both of you.

Where'd you find that envelope? I'm looking for something like that for a project.

The CDs and packaging were printed at Sire Press here in Philadelphia. They're a small company, but are amazing. They're prices aren't the cheapest on the internet, but they're the only people I know of anywhere that do a variety of types of packaging, everything by hand, and for prices that really aren't any higher than other places generally. For my last album I got just my discs printed there, and they came out beautifully. It's run by some folks in my age bracket (20s-30s) and they seem to be pretty pumped about everything they do. They also have great graphic designers there. Here's their site:

They care about what they do, nuff said. I constantly recommend them. Jon happened to have found them before he and I even spoke. It was funny to hear that they were going to be printed right by me at a place I tell people about all the time.

Digging this up once again. I'm really free right now and this is a perfect time to get in some gigs for Tape Oppers. If you're interested shoot me an email at jesse.gimbel@yahoo.com (and mention you're from Tape Op so I know!).

I just wanted to say great job on the album artwork. The design looks great.

I may be in need of some services...but it'll be a few months. See what kinda gear I can cultivate from now till then.

Thanks! No problem, I'll definitely still be looking for work to do. I'm going to put up some more design examples here soon.

Hey Jesse,

We need to get back in touch! I've got internet at my studio now so I should be able to send you some music files. :D
I am the terrible byproduct of the erosion of Jeff's 'society'.

Just wanted to post work from another Tape Op member's project. Custom typeface, "alien meets zombie". It's outside of my normal style, which often makes projects fun to work on. Big images here, sorry:

It's not a record, just a custom typeface (which I displayed on background I painted), though it will be used for his album. Honestly I'm not sure which TO member he is, he emailed me directly so I never spoke to him on here, his name's Josh!
